In August 2016, what started as a simple joke during our many trips to one of our favorite tea shops (and having spent way too much money) turned into the beginning of a beautiful journey. My best friend & sister in law, Erica, was the driving force behind my decision to open a tea shop. Despite the challenges that came our way, Erica stood by me every step of the way.

As September rolled around I decided to make a go of it and dove into small business courses, eager to learn and grow. By November, life took an unexpected turn when Erica received the devastating news of her illness. Despite her own battle, she continued to support me in planning, designing our logo and font, finding suppliers, and selecting the perfect teas for our shop.

March 31st, 2017, marked the day we lost Erica, but her spirit and influence live on in every corner of our tea shop. Her passion, dedication, and unwavering support continue to inspire me every day. Opening this shop is not just a business venture; it is a tribute to the incredible person Erica was and the impact she had on my life.

Unfortunately, when covid-19 hit in 2020, the shop location had to close. with the drive to not give up, I was determined to keep going any way possible. At the end of 2023 I was finally able to reopen a very special shop in the heart of the city of St. Thomas, Ontario.
